Lock the scope before the Slack thread starts

If the offer does not list what is included, everything is included. Write four to seven deliverables, numbered, short enough to read on a phone. A request that is not on the list is a new offer.

Two rounds of revision is a number. “Unlimited polish” is how a homepage takes the whole month. Hosting, copy, photography, and stock licenses belong on the list — or they belong to the client.

Put the list on the same page as the deposit. People argue less with terms they have already paid against.
